You’ve probably noticed that while the other occupants of this home have bedrooms, you have an Owner’s Retreat. That is, a whole corner of the home all to yourself, with the other bedrooms all the way on the opposite corner. In the Mosaic 2, your Retreat even has an alcove, which is sort of the architectural equivalent of the deep breath you’ll take right as you retreat to your Retreat. And let’s not overlook the rest of this spacious ranch home. The wide-open living spaces. The kitchen with its island and pantry. All the smart, loveable features that, at some point, will entice you away from your Retreat.

Rather than simply doing what\'s been done, we challenged ourselves to design a home for real life. Here, the kitchen opens to the flexible great room, where gatherings of all kinds naturally happen. We did some of our best thinking where you do some of yours.

We could have called this the Yoga House because it is about as flexible as a home can be. In its standard configuration (you can think of it as the \"seated meditation pose\") the upstairs includes a nicely appointed owner\'s retreat suite and a second bedroom. Need kid space? Add another bedroom upstairs and another on the lower level. Or use the lower level for a media room. And with the optional 2nd story porch, you\'ll have a great place to salute the sun.

First impressions are important. But for a moment, let’s consider the oft-underestimated second impression. After taking in the tall, handsome exterior of your Cadence townhome and climbing the stairs to the second level, your visitors are greeted by the airy openness that characterizes all the main living areas of the Cadence Portfolio. Flooded with natural light from the big picture windows and deck doors. But in the Cadence 4, what they also notice immediately is a long, elegant kitchen island. On that island, maybe there’s a vase of cut flowers that adds a splash of color. Perhaps there’s a pitcher of margaritas that adds a splash of something else. One thing’s for sure — your home has made an impression. A good one.

Coming home should be a pleasure. An easy-breezy segue from outside world to inner sanctum. And this floorplan makes it effortless.
